We copied a tradition for a while that someone in my class did and that was have people bring dollar store items to use as prizes to win when you win a bingo game on Thanksgiving day. People could bring wrapping paper, gift tags, cheap toys for children, candy bars, etc. I found cute disposable snowman plates at a drugstore one year. A Valu hardware store had mini tape measures, screwdrivers and duct tape for men. It was a lot of fun.
