One More Adorable Turkey Craft

13 Nov

Are you in love with this turkey?!

I was spying on the Happy Buddy in his PreK-2 classroom cruising the halls of the Happy Buddy’s preschool when I noticed a whole flock of these adorable turkeys hanging on one of the teacher’s bulletin boards.

I took note of the materials and instantly knew that we could make one at home!

What you will need:

  • Googly eyes
  • Construction paper in brown, red, and orange
  • Popsicle Sticks (we used pre-colored ones)
  • Glue

I doubt I need to jot down the directions, as these turkeys are pretty self-explanatory!

My favorite part was getting the Happy Buddy to tell me the things that he is thankful for…The Happy Buddy is kind of obsessed with Chick-fil-A at the moment, so chicken, fries and ketchup are a daily part of our prayers of thanksgiving. :-)

Happy Turkey Craft-ing! :-)

Very cute, my daughter (4) just saw this and said, “are we going to make that for Thanksgiving?” I had to comment because we too are big Chic-fil-a fans. For the last couple years if you ask our daughter what she wants she will reply Chicken, and fries, and ketchup. The only problem is she often compares our chicken to chic-fil-a and of course we come up short : ). Thanks again for all you wonderful ideas, our happy home really enjoys them.

Okay Happy Home Fairy, you have me wanting to do all of these cute craft. How fun they all look. I think my kids will be sick of turkey and we haven’t even eaten any. Thanks for all of the ideas. (I think even my teenage boys will get into some of them. By the way it was fun to see you singing today with your happy hubby!!
