Nothing says ‘Spring’ to me more than a heaping bowl full of Banana Pudding.
And this recipe is seriously the greatest thing you will put in your mouth this season.
I promise. 🙂
The Happy Hubby and I have been known to sit down with the whole bowl of Banana Pudding Wonder, clink our two spoons and just dig away.
I really like that it’s not your usual Vanilla-Wafer-Banana-Pudding.
Read on to find out this amazing deliciousness!
The Happy Home Fairy’s Banana Pudding of Wonder
- BIG box of Instant Vanilla Pudding
- Milk
- 1 loaf of prepared banana bread (I like to use the Pillsbury mix to save time!)
- 12 oz container of Cool Whip
- Lots of bananas
Directions – Step 1 – Find a big bowl that’s deep enough for lots of banana pudding layers.
*I got the one in the picture from Marshalls several years ago. 🙂
Step 2 – Cut your loaf of banana bread in half and crumble one half in the bottom of your large bowl.Step 3 – Prepare the box of pudding using the milk and let it set. Then pour it over the banana bread crumbles.Step 4 – Slice some bananas on top of the pudding.Step 5 – Spread half the carton of Cool Whip on top of the banana slices.
Step 6 – Repeat layers.
Step 7 – Cover with plastic wrap and stick in the fridge for several hours. The longer it’s in there, the better.
Step 8 – Try to keep your Happy Buddy from devouring the whole thing. 🙂Step 9 – When you can’t wait any longer, scoop it out and into a tall glass.
Step 10 – LOOOOOOOOOOVE it with every bite!!!!!
And if your Happy Hubby is especially fond of banana pudding, put a note like this on his portion and have it ready for him after a long day of work.Happy Banana Pudding-ing! 🙂
*In case you missed it, I did a post yesterday on Tips for Shopping at Publix Grocery Store. I hope you’ll check it out!

Julie,
I love your blog! It is so much fun to read and I know that your “Happy Mom and Happy Dad” are proud of you as I am. When I had young kids or even young grand-kids, I would have loved to have a blog like yours to look at every day. Thank you for all you are doing for the young families and grandparents that read your great and fun ideas! I always loved having fun with my kids as you seem to do. You are a very special young lady. Hope to hear you sing again soon!!! Does your blog “happy friends” know that you sing beautifully?
Love,

I made this for our small group Bible study this week and everyone LOVED it. I also tried your taco pizza a couple weeks ago. It went over pretty well with my family too. Thanks for always posting such fun and creative things. I love that I am able to get inspiration from your creativity.
