I couldn’t resist throwing in two more Valentine ideas…
At the dinner table tonight – if you missed my Valentine Dinner ideas and are looking for a quick and easy thing to do as a Happy Home, why not have a guessing game?
And if you want to bring a quick Valentine gift to your neighbors, I took the Candy Gram idea from an earlier post, and whipped together one for the Happy Home next door!
And if you are looking for a last minute way to bless someone, every year the Happy Hubby and I have offered to babysit for a couple on Valentine’s Day so that they can get out and enjoy a little romance. It’s one of my favorite traditions! I am planning a special Adventure Date for the two lovebirds! It should be a fun night!
Before I sign off, the Happy Buddy wanted me to share a little Valentine Message from him with all my Happy Home Friends…
I hope that you have the best Valentine’s Day ever!
Relish in the LOVE that our God has showered on you! You are dearly loved by HIM!!
I’d be THRILLED if you wanted to share with me the results of your Happy Home’s Valentine’s Day Celebration!
Please, PLEASE tell me all about it!!!!!!!! It makes me so happy!
Happy Valentine’s Day-ing! 🙂

Hey Sister,
I went mad with my cookie cutter today. The girls had a slice of toast with a mini hearts cut out of them for breakfast. For lunch, Hannah had a heart-shaped turkey sandwich, and they each got a heart of M&Ms for dessert. When Ryan got home from work he found a message in M&Ms on the counter. Also, I whipped up the “love potion” smoothie for him. He was so happy as he loves smoothies, and is really missing them (no smoothie shops in Deutschland) here. The girls got heart-shaped pancakes with strawberries for dinner. Then, after they were in bed, we enjoyed a romantic dinner for two and a new pasta dish. I think we’ll polish off the Passion Bowl and call it a night. Thanks for all the fun ideas Sister! Love ya!

Well, my valentines day has been spent at work. But….my happy hubby is cooking a surprise dinner tonight! And I am wearing a pink sweater and your special valentines pin you gave me from your birthday party. Love the picture of Noah 🙂 🙂

I have enjoyed your ideas and so glad I found the website! I used your ideas to do little things for my son and husband the past week. It has been so much fun and I hope to do it again in the future. They liked it too and my son would ask, where’s my surprise? He liked trying to figure out what it was each day.

Julie, you will be so impressed with the Valentines Day magic at our house! I am so inspired by you:) When Ted got home there was a note on the door that said “Happy Valentines Day Games!” I had set up 5 different valentines day related games around the house. My labor of love was “love darts”: whatever section of the dart board you landed on you had to answer a love question or a love dare. We had such a fun date night in! I lost the valentines day games, but I feel like I won:) I think the valentines day games might become a tradition.

Julie, You are AMAZING!! Your love for God and for your family is so inspiring. Because of you, I was inspired to do a 14 days of love fun! It has completely changed my perspective towards my family and especially my marriage. The spirit in my home this Valentine season has been so very magical. I just wanted to thank you for your incredible creativity and desire to share with all of us. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family because you have truly blessed mine. 🙂

I went into detail about our Valentine’s Day here: http://domestichurch.wordpress.com/2011/02/15/valentine-date/
My prince liked the centerpiece so much that he posted a picture on his Facebook page, calling it “weapons grade cuteness” 😉 !
