A great way to help little ones get ready to go to school is to have a special countdown to the first day!
And what better way to countdown than to spend time praying for others!
Today I am sharing a FREE Printable Back to School Countdown Prayer Chain for you to do with your kiddos.
Brainstorm a list of names of people who work at your child’s school. You can check your child’s school website for a list of staff and faculty.
Write the names of each person on the strips provided in the printable.
Cut the strips out, loop and staple together to form a chain, and begin your prayer journey.
Take off a link each day leading up to the first day of school and say a short, simple prayer for whoever is listed.

Thank you for the wonderful work you do. I love the back to school coundown prayer chain. I would be nice if it were also available in black and white to save on ink. It could also be printed off on colored paper.
Love the Prayer Chain idea. I’m going to use this idea in my Sunday School class Will list all my students, their parents, other SS teachers and our pastor. Will have a different student pick 2 names each Sunday we will all say a prayer for.
Will change the school bus to an open Bible picture to hold our chain.
