October is Pastor Appreciation Month! It’s not too late to bless these hard-working people and their spouses.
I rounded up a list of 10 fun ideas your family can do together to give back to the one who gives so much to you! (Scroll to the last idea – HILARIOUS.)
Candy Gram
Love this ‘sweet’ candy gram idea from HERE. Hit your local drugstore for a posterboard, tape and candy.
Fruit Table
Put out a fruit tray after church with this little sentiment. Idea from HERE.
Plant Power
Purchase a plant and add a cute tag. Idea from More Than a Mommy.
S’more Preaching
This made me laugh out loud. Grab some s’more ingredients and add this funny note. Idea from HERE.
Pray Every Day
I loooove these FREE printables that commit your family to praying for your pastor every day during the month of October. The pre-written letter for the pastor is SO CUTE. Check it out at Blessed Beyond a Doubt.
Dinner’s On Us
Your pastor’s wife will especially appreciate a night off from cooking! Love this simple “Dinner’s On Us” printable and idea from B-Inspired Mama!
Com-MINT-ment
Grab a bunch of mint-y treats and include this cute tag idea from Zucchini Summer.
Balloon Office
Get a bunch of people to write their words of thanks for the pastor on a bunch of blown up balloons. Place all over the pastor’s office. See more details at Growing Kids Ministry.
From the ‘Flock’
I am dyyyying over this. If you have some time, print out multiple copies of a picture of a sheep. Attach to popsicle sticks. Drive to pastor’s house and stick all over his yard. Leave a sign on the front door that says, “Thank EWE for being the best pastor! Love, Your FLOCK.” CAN’T EVEN.
Sneak Attack
This last idea CRACKS ME UP. Hug your pastor on a Sunday morning and slap this special message on his back. 😉
You can find lots more simple Pastor Appreciation Month ideas in THIS POST. << The mixed nuts idea is my favorite.
You can make a difference in your pastor’s life today!
Joyfully,
Julie 🙂

I love the idea of ‘flocking’ the Pastor’s yard for Pastor Appreciation Day. Can you tell me where you found the sheep design, and what paper you printed it on? The picture makes them look too big for a popsicle stick to hold them up. It also looks a little labor intensive to get them cut out….I better start now.
Thanks!
Ellen
Take a picture of the lamb with your phone then print it with your wireless printer

I did this idea for our pastor and we loved it. I made an overhead transparency of the sheep and drew them all different sizes of poster board. Several church members help to cut them out and went down to their house and filled the yard while they went to eat lunch after Sunday morning church service. We cut out over 100 and made a banner.

We “flocked” our pastor for a combination of his birthday and pastor appreciation, I had people write a message of appreciation, or a favorite scripture or a word of encouragement on each sheep. Early Sunday morning I set up the displayAt his home, so when he came out his door in the morning he would see the display of love from our community.
