My name is Meggan and it is such an honor to be posting here today! I have known Julie for almost nine years now – she was one of the first people that I met when I moved to Fort Lauderdale. We were in the same small group at church and became fast friends over our love for Jesus, smiling all the time and both being originally from New Jersey. It has been such a blessing to watch and learn from Julie as a Christ-follower and fellow mama! I have been reading Happy Home Fairy since its inception and I was so thrilled when Julie asked me if I would like to share a post on her beautiful blog.
A little bit about me — I have been married for almost nine years to my first love, Kris. We have two sweet miracle babies, Avery (4) and Charlotte (2). We were so blessed to have Avery be a student in Julie’s class when she started in PK2! Mrs. B will forever have a special place in my little one’s heart.

I have been working as an HR consultant since my first daughter was born, and in May of this year I started a fashion blog and Instagram page called Golden Style Book (Instagram here). I have always loved putting outfits together that are affordable and work with my busy lifestyle of being a mom. I believe that being a good steward with our finances is important, and one of my hopes with Golden Style Book is that I can help others to easily recreate outfits without breaking the bank! I typically like classic, feminine pieces that can be dressed up or down for versatility.
