We made these Pinterest-inspired Valentines last year in my preschool class and mailed them to all of my students’ parents and grandparents. It was such a cute project and everyone was so surprised!
They are pretty simple to make.
We used thick card stock covered with scrapbook paper to make the card.
To make the little hand open, I glued a photo of the child’s face to the card. Then I cut out a painted handprint. Then I used a small piece of paper in the shape of a long rectangle and stuck one end under the photo and the other to the back of the handprint. That’s it!
I hope this gives you a little fun activity to do with your kiddos this weekend!
