1 Thessalonians 5:11 says to, “Encourage one another and build each other up…”
Here is a magical way to do that!
Snag a few of these super sweet Valentine Mailboxes from the Dollar Section at Target!
Gather up some Valentines-y supplies (paper, stickers, glue, glitter, etc.)
Then have a Family Craft Night!
Everyone can decorate his/her Valentine Mailbox however he/she pleases!
Here is the Happy Hubby hard at work!
Here is a picture of the Happy Buddy’s Mailbox! He enjoyed playing with the stickers. Halfway through our project time he stopped putting stickers on his mailbox and began sticking them to my legs instead. I didn’t notice until I went to shave them later and came across an assortment of hearts.
I used some scrapbook paper cut to fit and then taped on!
And here’s the Happy Hubby’s, who said that in order to feel more “man-ish” doing crafts, he had to take a more creative approach when decorating his Valentine Mailbox.
Apparently the dinosaur is eating the strawberry and the monkey is running away in fear.
After you’ve decorated, have each family member write an encouraging word for another family member on a piece of paper. Fold up those Valentines and slip them into the appropriate mailboxes!
Don’t they look just so sweet lined up on the counter?
You can fill your mailboxes with other magical items, too! Mini erasers, candies, coupons, etc. Just hit those Target Dollar Bins for some great ideas and have a Valentine ‘Happy’ waiting for your family every morning! 🙂
Happy Valentine Mailboxes! 🙂

Love the mailboxes, Julie! I am actually considering mounting them to the wall in the girls rooms…or right outside their bedroom door. :0) They already made paper mailboxes that we use throughout the year to send little notes to each-other…super excited about the ones target is offering! (I love your blog!)
