This cookie recipe is a favorite of mine to make every fall!
I think that Reese’s Pieces have a real October-y kind of look to them.
Speaking of October, it happens to be National Pastor Appreciation Month, so why not bake a batch of these delicious beauties for the one who shepherds and cares for your church?
Or you could check out THIS POST for other awesome and easy ways to celebrate Pastor Appreciation.
Now, back to the cookies.
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups Reese’s Pieces
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets with cooking spray.
2. In large bowl, beat sugars and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Beat in peanut butter, vanilla, and egg. Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Stir in candies. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
3. Bake 8-12 minutes or until edges are set (centers will be soft). Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely.
I think peanut butter and chocolate are like the perfect match ever.
Happy Reese’s Pieces Chocolate Cookie-ing! 🙂

Sarah
I made these today for a friend, It was her 30th birthday and my 2 1/2 year old son insisted we make “Chocolate Milk Cookies” I google searched something with Reese’s Pieces in them and found your recipe. What a blessing! These cookies were so fantastic they taste like they come from a coffee shop something you would pay $1 per cookie for and in a good way -as in I ate three! Do you have other recipes like this without the peanut butter or cocoa for people who can’t have one or the other?
Happy Home Fairy
Hi Sarah! Thank you for your sweet comment! I am so happy you enjoyed this recipe!! Unfortunately I don’t have any other cookie recipes with the restrictions you mentioned, but it’s a good idea! Have a wonderful day!
