If you have ever had a new baby in your Happy Home, you are probably familiar with the fact that your evenings are no longer reserved for sleeping.
In fact, babies don’t really care what time it is and often decide to do their most massive blowouts in the middle of the night.
Waking up at 12, 3 and 6 to change a poop (or hose down a crib) is no picnic, people.
So, in effort to keep new moms and dads from questioning their decision to even have children, I created a series of encouraging and humorous messages that attach to diapers meant only to be used for those midnight changes.
Some of the messages are funny, some are inspiring, and all of them are intended to make the new mom and dad feel a whole lot better about being awake when NO ONE ELSE IS.
I included a simple FREE Printable in this post if you would like to give the gift of encouragement and humor to a set of new parents in your own world.
Print the cards (there are a total of 32), cut out, attach to diapers (I used some cute Washi Tape), throw in a gift bag or basket and let them know they can only use those diapers in the wee hours.
This makes a super creative gift on the fly for a new baby hospital visit or baby shower.
And who knows??? It just might be the very thing that helps a new mama get through that first month. 😉

I am actually using this gift for a 4th time mom. She doesn’t need much…but just diapers seemed boring. This makes it so much more fun. Love it!!
Happy Home Fairy
That makes me so happy!!!

Hi! Great idea! Question though… What type of tape did you use to on the note for the diaper?
Cari
Looking forward to using these for a baby shower this Saturday. My dad was cracking up when I read them to him. I now have to call my brother. They love bathroom humor.
