The Super Easy, Super Glamorous Sandwich

A few years ago I went to a friend’s house for a play date with our boys and she served up a plate of sandwiches that I will never forget.

I felt like a queen eating mine (Brie cheese is so sophisticated) – and the best part is that it is a cinch to make!

I whipped together this sandwich for the Happy Hubby and he was like, “You made this?!”

I could have been hurt by his seemingly incredulous question (I mean, I’m no Martha Stewart, but I have some cooking skills), but I chose to take it as a compliment.  That this sandwich was so glamorous it could have only been made by a professional French chef or something.

Want to know how to make one and impress all of your friends and family?Ingredients -

Baguette

Brie Cheese

Sliced Turkey

Granny Smith Apple

Mixed Greens (optional)Step 1 – Slice bread in half.

Step 2 – Spread the Brie cheese on the bread.

Step 3 – Lay some slices of turkey on top of the cheese.

Step 4 – Thinly slice the apple and layer that on top of the turkey.

Step 5 – Place the mixed greens on top of the other slice of bread.

Step 6 – Put the whole thing together!

Invite your friends over for a play date this week and serve them one of these sandwiches – it will make all you hard-working mamas feel diva-fied (even with a shoulder covered with spit-up).

Easy and Glamorous!

Happy Sandwich-ing! :-)
