The Fruit Kabob Turkey

6 Nov

I think I hear the Hallelujah Chorus singing in the background of this glorious – totally edible turkey.

We had our MOMs (Moms On a Mission) group this past Friday at church and I am in charge of coordinating the food.

Well, I got it into my head that I wanted this turkey from Family Fun.

I started praying that God would send me a willing volunteer.

A Happy Home friend, Michelle, readily agreed to make it happen and I literally jumped out of my skin in worship to the Lord!

I do believe He got great glory from this beautiful (and delicious – after the women worked up the courage to start picking away at such a lovely bird) turkey. :-)

Thanks, Michelle.Happy Fruit Kabob Turkey-ing!

That is very cute. We made one last year with a pumpkin and grapes and strawberries and bananas.

This is totally cute! It would be great for our church Thanksgiving dinner. But…how do you transport it?

Hey Rena! Isn’t it adorable?! The gal who made this amazing turkey placed it on a large platter and then carefully wrapped cellophane around it – kind of like a big present. The cellophane helped everything to stay in place while traveling! I know your church will love it!
