The best thing that ever happened to my marriage was when the Lord revealed to me that true love is all about serving and sacrifice.
I think Mother Teresa (LOVE that woman!!!) says it best…
“We must grow in love and to do this we must go on loving and loving and giving and giving until it hurts – the way Jesus did. Do ordinary things with extraordinary love.”
As we seek to reflect Christ in our lives, we must see that His love spills into all areas – especially our marriages. The more we love Jesus, the more we will love our men and stop expecting them to change/act a certain way/be someone they are not.
And we will find the most beautiful satisfaction in making their lives magical! 
It truly is better to give than receive!
