I love crafts that don’t require hours worth of effort and expensive materials, but they still produce SPECTACULAR results!
Here is a fun project that I did the other night because I wanted something Winter-ish to hang in our home!
Materials Needed:
- Wax Paper
- Glue
- Glitter – LOTS OF IT
- 6 Q-Tips (because snowflakes have 6 points!)
First thing you need to do is lay out a sheet of wax paper and then squirt a quarter-sized dollop of glue right in the center.
Next lay the 6 Q-Tip ends into the glue.
Cover the ends with more glue.
Pour a bucket-full of glitter on the glue – this is the BEST part! Don’t worry if glitter gets everywhere – it’s magical. (I did this project on the kitchen counter and the Happy Hubby had glitter in his sandwiches for days afterward!)
Now you have to WAIT.
Like at least 36 hours.
This is the hardest part because you are going to want to peel that beautiful snowflake off the wax paper and hang it in your Happy Home immediately! But if you try to remove the snowflake to early… you will have a sticky mess. Self-control is not an easy thing!
When you’ve waited long enough and the glue is completely dry, peel the wax paper away and enjoy your sparkly snowflake of wonder!
Now go make a whole flurry of ’em!
Isn’t that the easiest and sweetest craft?
Happy Q-Tip Snowflake-ing! 🙂

I love the idea! I think it would be super cute with a glitter/glue glob on the end of each stick to (cover up the cotton part).
