I have found that worship music helps me keep focused on truth when my lil’ wayward brain wants to dwell and fret on other things.
It’s also especially helpful in bringing some peace to our Happy Home when played softly in the background (for example when things are getting a wee bit hairy during the witching hours that period of time between naps and bedtime).
Or when you’re in the mood for a little impromptu family dance party? Works like a charm! (I am not even kidding about this – check out THIS worship song video and y’all will literally dance your shoes off!)
Plus, it is a great way to expose our Happy Buddies to truth, as well.
The other day we were driving in the car to school and we were listening to a song that said “Forgiveness for my sins…” The Happy Buddy (who had chosen to disobey his daddy before leaving) piped up from his seat in the back, “Mommy, I had a little bit of sin before we left the house today.”
🙂
Easter is the time of reflection on all that Christ did for us – His life, death, and resurrection.
I have picked out a few of my favorite songs that focus especially on these aspects of the Easter season and put them here in a post for your listening pleasure if you choose to download some from iTunes.
Happy Sounds of Easter-ing! 🙂

I couldn’t agree more that Worship Music can truly soothe our Souls. I minister to woman that have been sexually and physically abused and we always start off our meetings with prayer and worship music. It is amazing that in the world of Christian Music the artists really want to pour Hope and Healing into the listeners ears and I for one am incredibly grateful. I know most of the songs that you have listed, can’t wait to hear the rest of them. Happy almost Easter! He Has Risen!
