This is one of my FAVORITE drinks to make during the winter time! EVERYONE goes nuts over it! In fact, our women’s ministry at church just did a big Christmas event and we served this delicious-ness and so many people have asked for the recipe I figured I’d better blog about it!
I love that it’s called Snow Cocoa. Very fitting for this time of year!
Snow Cocoa
Ingredients –
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 6 cups milk (I usually use whole milk or 2%)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 oz pkge white chocolate chips (try to use Ghiradelli if you can – YUM!)
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Heat on low for 2-2 1/2 hours or until chocolate is melted and mixture is hot.
- Stir well to blend.
- Enjoy from a Snowman mug on a chilly day.
Happy Snow Cocoa-ing! 🙂

How many servings does this recipe make?
Happy Home Fairy
About 10! I always double the recipe for big parties! 🙂

Have you ever used bark instead of white chocolate?
Happy Home Fairy
No I haven’t, but it sounds like it would work well! Yum! 🙂

I think I will try this and add about 1/2 cup of baileys

Sounds great, but WHOA, must have a lot of calories!
Happy Home Fairy
Haha! Calories don’t count at Christmas! 🙂

For the whipping cream.can i use “cool whip?”
Happy Home Fairy
Ashley, no… definitely buy whipping cream. 🙂
pioneercynthia
Absolutely not. It’s not for the topping.

This looks great. White chocolate is me and my boyfriend’s fav! Just bought the ingredients to make this. One question. Do you whip two cups of whipping cream? Or just pour it in the crockpot from the carton?
Happy Home Fairy
Ciera, just pour it in! 🙂
lindsey
Does it reheat well? If I make it the night before and reheat in the crock pop in the morning would that work?
Thanks!
Kristi
Thank you for sharing beautiful happy sister in Christ. Looks delish
Happy Home Fairy
Thanks, Kristi!!
Val
Could you make this without a crockpot? Thanks!
Happy Home Fairy
Hi Val! I’m sure you can! Just keep it on low for a long time!
