Looking for a little something to send snail mail to the grandparents for Thanksgiving?
Need a fun thing to upload to your Facebook page or Instagram on the morning of Turkey Day?
Check out this adorable and easy photo idea I made for my students’ parents using PicMonkey…
STOP IT. I seriously can’t even handle how cute this is.
Are you familiar with PicMonkey?
It’s a free photo editing site that’s really easy to use. I use it to watermark my photos with Happy Home Fairy – which, ironically, I forgot to do to these photos.
Allow me to show you how to make this cuteness happen.
Step 1 – Go to http://www.picmonkey.com/.
Step 2 – Click EDIT and upload a photo of your choice.
Step 3 – Click the little butterfly from the menu on the left side of screen and scroll down to find COMIC BUBBLES. Choose a comic bubble and move it to the spot you like on the photo.
Step 4 – Click on the Tt from the menu on the left side of screen, choose a FONT, write ‘I’m thankful for YOU!’ (or whatever phrase you want), and resize it as necessary to fit inside the comic bubble. I centered mine.
Save your photo, print at your preferred photo center, stick in an envelope and snail mail it to a beloved family member or post it to Facebook and watch the ‘likes’ pour in.
BAM.
You are done.
For those of you who aren’t super tech savvy {{ahem- ME}}, you will be feeling pretty good about yourself at this point.
Here are a few other Thanksgiving photos that I made…
I am thankful for THEM.
Let me know if you try this and how it works out. I really love helping you have a good holiday – thanks for following the Fairy.
Happy Thanksgiving Photo-ing! 🙂

Hi! I was wondering if you added the orange Happy Thanksgiving blurb in the same way on your pictures above? I am excited to try this later when I have a minute. Thanks so much for sharing…and no, I never heard of that site.

Hey Heather! Yes, in the butterfly section there are geometric shapes – choose the circle, make it the color you want, resize it a bit, then bring it down to the bottom of the photo so that half of the circle is off the photo. Then add writing on top! I hope you do this!! Have fun!

This is so adorable and EASY! I’ve always wanted to do stuff like this, but I never knew how!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! Seriously: such a blessing!

Hi Julie! I just completed my first photos! I sent you an email so you can see them. Thank you SO much! It is amazing 🙂

Love it!! AND, if you get the App “Ink cards” you upload the pic you just made and THEY send the postcard to your loved one-don’t even have to go to the post office 😉 I think it’s 1.99$…but if you have little ones…that extra $1 is totally worth not dragging everyone out in the car?
