My giveaway up closegiveaway-5HHF GIVEAWAY ITEMS

1. The Bible App For Kids Storybook Bible – I LOVE this Bible for kids!  My mother-in-law works for One Hope who partnered with YouVersion to bring this sweet new Bible to children everywhere.  The text is very simple and the pictures are ADORABLE.  Happy Baby loves his copy and requests that we read from it every night.

2. Cute Stationary – I love writing notes to people and sending them via snail mail.  It’s so old fashioned. 😉  I found these cute cards in the Dollar Spot at Target.

3. Parenting the Wholehearted Child by Jeannie Cunnion – I mentioned this book in THIS POST featuring my top favorite parenting resources.  I LOVE THIS BOOK.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about it.

4. Brave New World by Amanda Cook – Holy Cow.  This album is THE BEE’S KNEES.  Seriously one of the greatest records I have heard in a long time.  I love this girl – her voice, lyrics, and heart.  She is so Spirit-filled!

5. Santa Cocktail Napkins – I found these at Homegoods for you.  I thought you could toss one in your child’s lunch pail one day this month, or put them out with dinner one night for a magical touch!

6. Dove Go Fresh Anti-Perspirant Deodorant, Cool Essentials Cucumber & Green Tea – I have tried so many all-natural deodorants (and talked a little bit about it in THIS WEIRD POST) and eventually I went back to chemicals because they WORK.  This is my all-time favorite deodorant at the moment and since Christmas stockings sometimes have toiletry items…  You’re welcome. 🙂

7. Maybelline Volume Express Mega Plush Washable Mascara – I never leave home without wearing mascara.  This drugstore, inexpensive one is my favorite.

8. Polkadot Socks – A friend recently informed me that wearing fun socks is very ‘in fashion’ and that the buzz is all about upping your ‘sock game’ these days.  Let me help you get cool this Christmas with these cute socks from J. Crew.

9. Jesus Is the Reason for the Season Christmas Car Magnet – I picked this up at our local Christian bookstore several years ago and shared about it in THIS POST.  I love driving around with it on my car for everyone to see!

10. For the Love: Fighting for Grace in a World of Impossible Standards by Jen Hatmaker – OH MY GOODNESS.  THIS BOOK.  NOW.  YOU NEED IT.  So funny.  Blew me away.  So much truth and grace and hilarity.  A great gift for all the women in your life.

11. Nativity Sticker Set – Picked these up at Hobby Lobby.  They make for a quick and easy activity with the kids while dinner is cooking.  Or use them as the craft for a Happy Birthday Jesus Party.

12. Sparkly Water Bottle – My mom found this for me and I love it!  I thought one of you could also use a little bling as you fill up on fluids throughout the day!

13. Young Living Essential Oils – Are you oily?  Oils are ALL THE RAGE right now and my friend, Jamee Good, is super passionate about helping people learn how to use them!  Do you find oils overwhelming?  You can take a class with Jamee and learn about all of the incredible benefits of using oils as your first line of defense against illness as well as overall health and wellness by clicking HERE!  Check out her website and all of the amazing products HERE.  For this giveaway Jamee has included Citrus Fresh Essential Oil, RC Essential Oil, some Lavender Lip balm, and a pouch of Ningxia Red Antioxidant Juice.

14. Glittery Decorative Tape – Who needs Scotch Tape to wrap your Christmas gifts when you have rolls of this shimmering sticky goodness?!

15. Gold Dangly Earrings – I think these earrings will look so pretty on you!  Wear them to the next Christmas party you have to attend.  Especially if it’s an Ugly Sweater Party – then these earrings will totally redeem your outfit. 😉

16. Fun Scissors – Staying up late Christmas Eve to wrap presents?  You must have cute scissors to get the job done.

17. The Book with No Pictures by BJ Novak – My kids LOVE this book.  It is so funny.  Check out my other favorite books for kids in THIS POST.

18. Little Plush Elf – I am just going to say it.  Sometimes I think the original Elf on the Shelf is cute and then other times I think he kind of looks like a creepy clown from a horror movie or something.  This little guy is cute without any hesitancy.  Find a whole bunch of easy Elf on the Shelf ideas HERE.

19. 100 Things for Little Children to do on a Trip by Usborne Books – Have y’all heard about Usborne Books?!  I am a little bit OBSESSED.  They are quickly becoming the most exciting, engaging, and educational books on the market.  The product featured here is from my friend Daiva who sells Usborne Books at THIS LINK.  The resource Daiva sent me to share in my giveaway is actually a set of 50 double-sided cards that keep kids busy in the car, on a plane, at a doctor’s office – anywhere! The set comes with a dry-erase marker and you could punch a hole in one corner to hold the cards together on a ring or ribbon. You might even split the cards up into several sets for several kids, or keep them in different places (the car, your diaper bag, etc).  Whatever you decide, these cards are SO CUTE and loads of fun.  Happy Buddy uses his ALL THE TIME.  Check out more amazing books and products from this company HERE!

20. Joy Ornament – I wanted to share this adorable ornament with you because it goes perfect with the series I have been writing this month at Happy Home Fairy called How to Have Christmas and Keep Merry (you  can find all the posts HERE).  My heart in this series is to encourage y’all to keep your joy throughout the holiday season by focusing on the things that truly matter.

    Steps 1 & 2 completed!
I am most excited by quite a few of the wonderful items you’ve chosen to stuff I a stocking. I had this picture of myself in my head on our 3 hour road trip with the kids to Camp Egan. I’m wearing my socks, drinking out of my sparkly water bottle, and the kids are so occupied with the 100 things, that I can read a book on how to raise them. I even take out a piece of my new stationary to write a thank you card to you. My earrings are sparkling in the clear winter sunlight, and the van smells heavenly of oils.
Here’s to making dreams come true. Thank you for doing this giveaway!

I would absolutely love to win this stocking–there is something for everyone in my family in there! Probably my favorite thing would be the 100 Things to do on a Trip car cards. We are trying to teach my 8 year old electronics junky foster son to enjoy a nice drive without his tablet. Its been rough, but he’s getting there. These cards would really help, and we LOVE Usborne Books too! My little 2 year old foster daughter is all girl and would love to have a sparkly water bottle of her own so she doesn’t have to steal her brothers (even though she probably still will). Thank you for doing this each year, I think I bought a few of the items out of your stocking last year, and will likely be doing the same thing this year if we don’t win.

Hi sweet Happy Home Fairy!!! First, just wanted to wish you and your darling family a Merry Christmas! Secondly, the rules….check and check (i already subscribe to your blog AND I have shared on Pinterest AND Facebook with my Mom2mom group) !!!! Third, I can’t even contain my excitement over the book “For the Love”, but the ornament…so sweet, it signifies MY word for the year…JOY!!!! and to actually have an ornament on my tree of my word “JOY” from the lady that gives joy to so many, including myself….what a fantastic ending to my end of meditating and working with JOY!!!

Galatians 5:13 says, “For you were called to be free, brothers and sisters; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.”

The Lord gave us some helpful instructions on freedom and we are very much in need of them! May we set our gaze not on division and fighting, but on asking God how we can be a part of the solution - small, faithful acts of Spirit-led love every day to the people in our world.

It is here in America where we can freely and confidently respond to Zion’s request to gather as a family in the living room to pray for the leg pains he has been having. We can bake muffins in our kitchens, leave surprises at someone’s doorstep, share a Bible verse with the grocery store employee, and worship on Sunday with friends.

These freedoms were purchased at a great cost, as many chose to lay down their lives in an ultimate act of love. May we remember. And may that remembering lead us right back to Galatians 5:13 and Jesus’ ultimate act of love. This holy inspiration is what we need to rise each day in humble gratitude for freedom in Christ to pour out, serve, and build His kingdom here on earth!

Happy Birthday America! 🥳

Happiest of birthdays, bruh! 😎
  • Just really grateful that everyone is smiling! We love you, Hollywood Beach! ☀️🌊🌴
  • This passage really encouraged me recently! It comes from Jeremiah 17:7-8.

I’m drawn to passages that describe the fruit of a person who loves and trusts God. This is what we are offered every single day in Christ! But I definitely don’t *feel* fruitful, steady, and confident every single day! I am often tossed around by my circumstances, ruled by my emotions, distracted by worldly pleasures, and basically overthinking everything in the universe.

Interesting that the verses just before it say,

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength…he shall not see when good comes…”

Maybe we get so focused on what everyone around us has or is doing that we miss standing confident on all the good he is sending into our own lives. We grasp at “if onlys” and “what ifs” so regularly that we are paralyzed to see good or do any good for Him.

Put your hope in God! Look at Him! Command your soul to remember. Stop scrolling. Look your people in the eye. Do something kind for someone! Choose to not be the main character! Tell the overthinking part of your brain to be quiet and thank God instead. Even when it is hard! Deep roots are never formed without some struggle.

This is where we get to be blessed, sisters. Trusting in Jesus (even when it looks a little desperate and needy) will produce strong, fruitful, and confident women in the Lord! 💛🧡❤️💙🩵💚
  • My parents are moving. 😢

The last 2 weeks have been so sweet. Just soaking up time together… in their home… for the last time.

It’s weird to see everything empty, but if there’s one thing I have learned, it is that home is where your mom and dad are! It has little to do with spaces and decor and everything to do with hearts and spirits.

May we all create homes of love and light and warmth. ✨It travels with you wherever you have to go.✨

I’m grateful they won’t be too far away. And they are already planning to come back for a visit in 2 weeks. 😂

Love you so much, Mom and Dad. You are forever my home! ❤️‍🩹
  • I don’t always share my fries when they ask. It’s been a long time since I’ve stuck a note in their lunch boxes. I handed over a load of stinky laundry that I let sit too long before moving to the dryer for them to put away because I didn’t have the energy to rewash it. I am not the best listener when I am stressed. I sometimes cry in front of them listening to worship on the way to work because I’m desperate and needy. I fuss about the level of mess in the house almost daily.

I am not a perfect mom. Most days I’m tired and feel like I am failing.

But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever!

If I had to stand on one thing in motherhood it would be that I am certainly not enough, but Jesus is. He is filling in every gap. He is meeting every need I don’t. He is working and moving in spite of me. Praise God for that amazing grace! And He loves that I keep showing up and needing Him. He loves that I seek His face always. Even when I’m being fussy and wrestling with the parts of me that are selfish and wanting.

Because God is my shepherd - I won’t be wanting. I won’t be wanting to have the perfect home or perfect circumstances. May the Lord find me wanting and hungry for more of Him in my mothering. I hope they will see that hunger more than my hunger for fries. And I pray they will learn to hunger for Him, too.

**Only He can satisfy.**

Happy Mother’s Day, dear ones! God is enough for you! 💝

  • Woohoo! 🥳 The kids are at Grammie’s and we went to a wedding! Got to get dressed up, see Ryan rock it as the “professional officiant” (this is what the wedding coordinator called him), eat a free steak, and even dance a little! 💃🏼🪩

My favorite thing that Ryan said during the ceremony was that God made Adam wait for Eve. He paraded all the Mr. and Mrs. animals in front of him long enough until Adam’s longing matched God’s good gift. The timing was then right, Adam was ready to fully appreciate and treasure his Mrs. “Man”.

To be honest, I almost didn’t attend the wedding with Ryan! I wasn’t feeling great and the idea of being home without kids all day to catch up on cleaning and laundry was pretty appealing. But the little nudge in me said DO NOT MISS THIS. I wanted to hear Ryan’s message and watch him lead this precious couple’s ceremony. I knew it was important to him that I be there. So because I treasure him, I went.

And I wasn’t the only one treasuring today! Ryan thanked me for coming with him, he danced with me even though I knew he would rather die than be on the dance floor, and he let me run into the store on the way home to end the day with some chocolate.

So here’s to treasuring one another - looking first to your spouse’s interests before your own, being their biggest fan, and telling them they look super hot in the fancy suit.

I mean, after all, he is a professional. 😁

🎉 NOAH is 16! 🎉

Writing this while you are playing a game of hockey with your little brothers in the living room - because you are awesome and love making your little brothers happy. You are commentating the entire game, complete with buzzer sound effects and crowd cheers. 🥅🏒📣

Moving to a new school this year was not easy. We had some hard times, some big disappointments, some dreams crushed… but you didn’t give up. You kept showing up, believing good is always on the way in God’s plans. And sure enough, you’ve made some new friends, discovered a new passion for running, gave it your all, and even rocked a mullet. 😅

You are strong, creative, full of integrity, purity, wit, fun, wisdom, care, responsibility, discernment, intelligence, and love. We could not be more proud of you!!! ❤️🧡💛

My parents are moving.

I don’t always share my fries when they ask.

✝️💐HAPPY EASTER💐✝️

Easter 2025 Thoughts >>

Been off of social media for Lent and it’s been amazing. Never underestimate the power of a good fast. There is fullness of the Lord to be had! 🙌🏻

This morning we woke up early for Easter service rehearsal. But one kiddo wouldn’t get out of bed, one kiddo was crying about having to wear a collared shirt, one experimented with some Easter basket goodies in the bathroom without my knowledge and there was a strange purple substance all over everything just as we really needed to get out the door, and one was dealing with an upset stomach the whole drive to church.

Meanwhile I’m yelling at everyone to JUST BE HAPPY BECAUSE JESUS IS RISEN!!!!!

I wish it hadn’t taken me this long in motherhood to learn that the chaos and mess and poop emergencies are the real stuff of life. You can wallow in the badness of it all on such a special morning, or you can remember that all the crazy is really why He came to do what He did. To offer PEACE in the chaos, JOY in the mess, a steady heart when someone’s about to have an accident in the car in their Easter outfit (that they hate anyways).

Joy comes in the morning, friends, and joy comes in the MOMENT. He died and rose again to make sure of it.

God bless you! ✝️💐🙌🏻😁

Joy comes in the morning, friends, and joy comes in the MOMENT. He died and rose again to make sure of it. God bless you! ✝️💐🙌🏻😁

Woohoo!
