If there were virtual cupcakes, I would send all of you one – in your favorite flavors!
Because today is Happy Home Fairy’s BLOGAVERSARY!!!!!
Let me just tell you! I have had the BEST YEAR EVER bringing you all lots of magical ideas to help you build Happy Homes.
I literally jump out of bed in the morning to check my stats and comments from amazing readers like YOU!!!
THANK YOU, dear Happy Home Friends, for inspiring this little Fairy every day.
Speaking of inspiration…
I wanted to give a little ‘shout out’ today to the gal who inspired me to start Happy Home Fairy.
Introducing…Laurie Sibley and her Happy Home.
An amazing mommy of 3 (#3 isn’t in the picture above because she was just born about a month ago), a wise wife, and a woman with an enormous heart for Jesus, Laurie teaches her readers what a true Happy Home looks like.
And I mean ‘happy’ in every sense of the word – especially in the funny sense because Laurie is ridiculously witty and sprinkles her posts with all kinds of comments that make me laugh out loud (like this one).
Last June Laurie’s son, Robbie, had to have surgery on his eyes. I followed Laurie’s updates as she posted them on her blog – totally admiring her faith and strength as a mommy in the midst of something so scary.
Laurie’s blog was the first I had ever read.
She made me want to be a better mom.
It was Laurie’s blog that inspired me to share my own story in hopes that God might somehow use me to help other moms, too.
So today, Miss Laurie, on my Blogaversary, I wanted to thank YOU specifically for being faithful to share the magic that goes on within the walls of your home. Yours is a Happy Home, indeed, and I am so grateful that you let us take a peek into the wonder of His love that is at the center of it all!
🙂
Stay tuned for pics from the Happy Buddy’s Monkey Party, Birthday Tradition Ideas, an unbelievable Pizza Bubble recipe, and more of THE BEST SUMMER EVER series at Happy Home Fairy!
Happy Blogaversary-ing! 🙂

Happy Blogaversary to you and to all of us, your readers, who are blessed daily, weekly and seasonally with your brilliant ideas and happy heart. You really are a lifesaver to many of us who run out of creative ideas in the daily grind. Not just for a happy family but also for keeping the magic in your marriage. Can I tell you…. My husband STILL has “You’re the gravy to my mashed potatoes” on the mirror in the bathroom! haha…

Congratulations to you Miss Julie on your blogaversary! Like so many others, I too keep up with a number of blogs, but yours is by far, my favorite, and I’m not just saying that! I love your ideas, I love the delight you have for so many things, your family, your collections, your day to day life, your love for God and especially your love of glitter! You make me happy, and I am thankful to “know” you! May God continue to bless you!

Wow, Julie! Thanks so much! I must confess to feeling very “status quo” most of the time, but I’m thankful that God used my little stories to inspire you to create such a fun and creative blog for all of us to enjoy. I’m a big fan! 🙂
