We are out of school for the week and that means I am starting to put my mind towards Christmas. I know that many of you are trying to get a head start on shopping, so here is my contribution to the world of Gift Guides!

This gift guide was completely inspired by our sweet Zion. He just turned 3 in October. He absolutely loves everything you will see on this list. In addition, as a Preschool Director, I take accurate notes on what the kiddos are loving and playing with at school. I can share with confidence that the items here are preschooler approved!

VTech Write and Learn Creative Center

I noticed that Zion was getting really into drawing. I grabbed this for him for his birthday in October and it is one of his most beloved treasures. He writes on it during our long drives to and from school. He carts it with him to and from the house. He draws pictures of all his friends and favorite animals. This is definitely a winner!

Zion loves his Hot Wheels cars and these tracks brought his passion for cars to the next level. He loves to create new tracks and drape them over boxes and pieces of furniture.

BRIO World Rail & Road Loading Set – 32 Piece Wooden Toy Train Set for Kids Age 3 and Up

As a mom of boys, I cannot stress enough the importance of having a good train set. Someone gifted us a BRIO train set years ago and it is my absolute favorite. It is so well made and has stood the test of time and boyhood.

Push Bubble Sensory Fidget Toy

These popper fidget toys are all the rage right now. This toy will keep Zion busy for quite a while. Perfect for diaper changes or waiting at the doctor’s office.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks

One of the things that Zion has recently gotten into is Monster Trucks. To be honest, I am kind of into them myself, too! I told Ryan that I want him to take me to a Monster Truck rally soon – ha! I will say, however, when buying Monster Trucks, if you have a sensitive little one, take note of the truck’s design because some of them can be a little intense! Zion received one as a gift that had a bunch of scary-looking skull faces and he kept hiding it around our house because he didn’t like that one. 🙂

Blippi Fire Truck

The other thing Zion has gotten into recently is Blippi! We got Zion this Blippi firetruck for his birthday and he thinks it is the greatest thing ever.

Melissa & Doug Water Wow!

These Water Wow activity book idea came from Zion’s preschool teachers. The kids in our preschool go wild for them! Zion will be getting some of these for Christmas this year.

Poke-A-Dot: The Wheels on the Bus Wild Safari (Board Book with Buttons to Pop)

Zion’s favorite song continues to be “The Wheels on the Bus”. His Grammie got him this fun Poke a Dot book and he is obsessed with it! They have a few other themes as well in this hands-on series.

Magna-Tiles 32-Piece Clear Colors Set

Magna-Tiles are probably the #1 toy in our preschool. There is SO much you can do with them! If you don’t already have Magna-Tiles, these are a must!

The Beginner’s Bible Learn Your Letters: A Wipe Away Board Book

Finally, we LOVE all of the Beginner’s Bible products. The Beginner’s Bible brand has so many great biblically-based educational resources for little ones. Zion especially loves these Wipe Away Board Books for Letters and Numbers. Every page features the brand’s signature illustrations. Zion has become so familiar with God’s Word from being exposed to these wonderful products. I highly encourage you to get your little one started with anything from The Beginner’s Bible.
