A reader asked if I was going to share some Christ-Centered Easter Children’s Books with y’all (kind-of like I did at Christmas with THIS POST).

This sweet book shares the message of Easter through a little girl who receives a bulb as a gift.

The story goes on to parallel how that bulb ends up becoming a beautiful lily and the little girl learns a powerful lesson about forgiveness and grace.

*Note – this book does not explicitly tell the story of Easter, but rather it is a parable with Easter Scripture references at the bottom of each page. It might be a little difficult for a small child to make the connection, but still a great read!*

This little book is SO CUTE and has the sweetest little rhyming way to it. The Gospel is clearly presented in an age appropriate way. The illustrations are adorable. My boys love this one!

Well, first of all, this book glitters. And that is pretty much enough to convince you to buy it.

If your Happy Home uses Resurrection Eggs to experience the story of Easter every year, then you MUST buy this book!

A little boy, Benjamin, has a small box that contains items that are the same as the items in the Resurrection Eggs.

You can actually read along and open the eggs with your Happy Buddies as the story unfolds.

I have been hearing SO much about this book. Retelling the Easter story through a Bible overview, children will discover that ‘because of our sin, we can’t go in’ but because of Jesus’ victory on the cross, an even better garden awaits us…

This book gets your Happy Buddies practicing their ABC’s in a Christ-centered way.

Awesome.

But more importantly, this book leads readers through the events of Holy Week and Easter Sunday using bright and colorful illustrations.

*Word to the wise – just watch out for the end. In an effort to make those obscure letters X, Y, and Z work, the author kind of jumped to Jesus’ ascension to heaven instead of explaining that He revealed Himself to a bunch of people first. Just thought you might want to explain that to your Happy Buddies so as not to confuse the actual events!*

Love this simple board book for young ones that affirms the fun of bunnies and baskets and egg hunting, but points out that the real beauty of Easter is in what Jesus did for us.
