So thrilled to introduce you today to a dear sweet friend of mine – Katie from Palm Beach Farm. I love seeing all of Katie’s beautiful outfit inspirations and hearing her heart on Jesus and life with 3 boys. Katie also has a really amazing knack for finding cute, quality gift ideas, so I thought it would be fun to invite her to share a Back to School Teacher Gift Guide to help you score some brownie points with your child’s teacher as we start the year! I am not going to lie – I want ALL of these items for ME! 🙂

Hello to the lovely readers of Happy Home Fairy! My name is Katie from Palm Beach Farm, a style and fashion blog!

When I was asked by my dear friend Julie, a.k.a “The Happy Home Fairy,” to do a guest post on her blog, I was so honored! With the new school year just around the corner, Julie asked if I would share some of my back to school teacher gift ideas with her amazing readers. This wasn’t an easy task since, as you know, Julie is so creative and thoughtful and has given us so many wonderful ideas and inspirations for gifting throughout the years!

Giving gifts is one of my favorite things to do! I love to bless someone with the perfect gift that I know he/she will love. When it comes to buying gifts, my motto is the two P’s, Personal and Practical. Does the item represent that individual’s style and personality well and will they actually use it?

For your child’s new teacher, I am sticking to mostly practical gift ideas, since at this time you haven’t really gotten to know them quite yet. My suggestion is to learn about this person and what they love, so you can gift them with something more personal for the end of the year gift. The only bit of info you may have about this teacher before the school year, is their last name. You can use the last name initial for some monogram gift ideas, since that is about as personalized as you can get!

Getting your child’s teacher a gift will be sure to bless them as they embark on this new school year with your child. A first impression is such a memorable one and people will never forget how you made them feel.

I hope you enjoy my back to school Teacher’s gift guide!

This first section of the guide, I’m sharing some teacher desk essentials. These items are not only adorable, but they will accessorize her desk AND she will be sure to use them!

Shop Items Here:

1. Pineapple paper clip holder $18 // 2. Desk notes $14 // 3. Blush stapler and tape dispenser $14 // 4.Floral file folders $14 // 5. DIY library kit $16 // 6.Metallic pencil case $24 // 7. Motivational pen set $ 14 // 8. Pineapple pencil holder $16

The items in this next section are gifts that can be used at school or also used more personally. Some of these items have a monogram option, simply use the teacher’s last name initial for these if you aren’t sure of her first name.

Shop Items Here:

1. Floral monogram pouch $18 // 2.Heart portable charger $34 // 3.Monogram trinket dish $22 // 4.Leopard scarf $29.95 // 5.Monogram tote $35 // 6.Floral vase 3 sizes starting at $28 // 7.Swell water bottle $35 // 8.Kate Spade “Heart of Gold” bangle $29.50 on sale!

For this last section, I didn’t want to forget the guys! These are perfect and practical gift ideas for a male teacher.

Shop Items Here:

1.Monogram catch all tray $35 // 2.Shoe shine kit $16 // 3.Card holder $20 // 4.Hardwood dry erase calendar $10 // 5.Monogram cuff links $30 // 6.Yeti cup $24

Finally, another amazing way to bless your child’s teacher this year is to offer your time. Teacher’s can always use a helping hand – whether its cutting for a project, organizing the classroom, or volunteering at a class party. A great idea could be to make a homemade coupon that explains how you are offering your time or service this school year and the teacher can cash it in when help is needed!

I pray you and your precious kids have a wonderful school year. Thank you to Julie for allowing me share my love of gift giving with you all!

Love, Katie

  • I saw this fun idea by my friend @melindaagriswold - can you guess who’s who? Comment below! Person 1 Love Language - Quality Time Pizza Forever Most Embarrassing Moment - Accidentally left a pair of their underwear on a cubby in 3rd grade and members of the opposite sex made fun. Adamantly denied ownership and abandoned that pair of underpants. Starbucks Order - Pike Place with cream, no sugar Person 2 Love Language - Words of Affirmation French Fries are life Most Embarrassing Moment - Once had a video published on YouTube and fly was down the whole time. • I find myself spending more time looking at the world and the problems instead of looking at these 4 heroes right here. This is what needs our attention. This is where change begins. Spend time praying for them instead of scrolling vanity. Spend time memorizing God’s Truths instead of dwelling on flawed opinion. Spend time laughing and playing and breathing deep the smell of their necks. Spend time teaching and training and living in the ✨light✨. This is the future. God has great things coming.

  • Life Updates >> Ryan - This weekend I broke the garbage disposal for the 14th time in our 17 years of marriage and he has not yet given up on me and my lack of understanding of what NOT to put down there. Love always hopes! Noah - Playing on the school basketball team and totally killing it this year! I have no idea what is happening on the court most of the time, but I know enough when the ball swishes through the hoop! Jethro - Creative, funny Jethro. He loves to make people laugh. And he loves to

  • Baby Zion is now officially acting like a toddler! We have mastered the words “No” “Mine” and how to go boneless when you don’t want mom to pick you up. Gearing up for this season of parenting with some truths >> ✨It is kindness that leads us to repentance.✨ It is love that covers over a multitude of sins.✨ It’s funny how doing this the third time isn’t as angering as it was with the first 2! Either I am more tired and not caring as much OR God is helping me to share His beautiful grace more as I

  • I went to church today. It was so good and so needed. I haven’t been in weeks. It’s funny how I let myself get comfortable with that. I tell myself it’s easier to just watch church at home online. Which is not true because basically every time I do that the children start a wrestling match in the living room while I am trying to listen to the sermon. Or the baby poops during the opening song. Or someone is inevitably injured. But I tell myself how nice it was to not wake up early. How lovely to stay in

  • We got fancy last night for our neighbor’s wedding. ‍♂️The wedding was about an hour drive away, so we had lots of time for car conversations without kids. This usually means that I vomit all the stuff I have been trying to process on my own and Ryan swoops in with a few ultra wise one-liners that talk me off the ledge. Things I learned on the drive... 1. Stop watching the news. Our souls were not made for so much information. 2. Never stop dreaming. Even if your circumstances are hard and you feel all your creativity and hopes

  • When I had covid, this precious mama of mine called me every day. She dropped groceries on our doorstep (and even decorated them with Christmas lights ). She had food delivered to our house. She wore silly Christmas glasses and FaceTimed me to make me smile. She watched every single one of My ABC Truth Tree videos and liked them. She texted me every day to make sure I was taking medicine and drinking enough water. She prayed for me and reminded me that it would all be okay when I called her in tears on Christmas Eve worried that
