As I have been searching for great St. Patrick’s Day ideas to share with you, I couldn’t help but notice that there are a lot of crafts that feature your Happy Buddy’s hand/footprints.
When we returned from the park the other day, the Happy Buddy and I sat down on the front step to dump the sand out of our shoes. When I peeled his sock off and his little feet were unveiled, I was overwhelmed by their cuteness!
And then I got sad thinking how one day – not too far away – those feet will probably be double the size of mine (unless we keep having babies because it seems that my feet grow an entire size with each pregnancy).
So pick one of these ideas and preserve those little hands and feet forever. 🙂
Jill Dubien never ceases to amaze me with her creative hand/footprint art.
This little leprechaun is just precious!
Alphamom featured this fun activity where your Happy Buddies can make Leprechaun Footprints using their fists and fingers.
Need a little decoration for your Irish Feast table?
These easy-peasy Shamrock Napkin Rings from She Knows are made simply by using a piece of paper, green paint, and a fingerprint.
Once again, Meet the Dubiens has another great St. Patrick’s Day handprint art idea.
This time transforming 4 handprints into a giant shamrock!
And finally, b inspired mama has this colorful Pot of Gold Rainbow Handprint Craft!
I don’t know about you, but my 2 year old would never sit long enough for me to put that many different colors on his hand. But if yours have more self-control are older, they will thoroughly enjoy the finished aesthetic appeal!!!
Happy Hand/Footprint Craft-ing! 🙂
