The hubs and I had so much fun expressing our inner artists with our Crayon Portraits ‘At Home Date Night.’
So we thought we’d give it a second go with this super fun game.
What you need:
1 sheet of paper per player
Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
Pair of dice
Happy Home Fairy’s FREE Printable Roll-a-Pumpkin Game (you can get it at the bottom of this post!!)
Here’s a peek at the game WITH instructions at the top…We had so much fun seeing our pumpkins come to life.
Here’s mine –
Her name is Dorothy.
Every girl needs to accessorize (Roll 7) with some cow-print shoes.
This is my husband’s pumpkin – complete with pilgrim hat.
If you’re wondering about the eyes, I rolled a 10 and got to draw them on ‘Punk’.
Unfortunately for me, that was the last feature he needed in order to win.
🙂
I hope you will play this fun game with your family as you make last minute costume choices, visit the pumpkin patch, and enjoy the cool, crisp days of October!

Hi! I am trying to print this cute idea for my class to use…how do I get it as a PDF? Thanks!
Marcia Gilbert
I love this idea! It would be fun to use in a classroom, as well as at home, but could I make one suggestion for classroom use? You have a short section, under accessories, which is written in cursive. That could make it difficult for those under third grade who have not yet learned cursive. I’m picturing kids in a classroom pairing off and being independent with this. It might be better if it was all in manuscript print (whatever style).

This sounds so fun! Gonna try it in OT class 🙂

My daughter is not feeling well today so we missed out on some festive fun. She started feeling better this evening so I told her we would do a craft and play a pumpkin game at home. I am excited to have found this quickly. It is great that the items needed are easily found at home! Thank you!

This game was so much fun with our 4 grandchildren tonight! Posted their creations on FB! Thank you for the great game.
Sandra
How could I do this at a youth function? Does each person roll the dice?
trudy petit
like what if you roll a 3 again and you already have a nose on your pumpkin do you get to roll again or just do nothing
Krystal
I’m wondering the same thing!

How does rolling the dice work? Do you partner up and take turns or can it be done in a small group taking turns rolling the dice?
