Last year I featured two fun posts filled with great rainbow-themed ideas. You can see them HERE and HERE.
This year I found a bazillion more ideas that just make me so happy I had to share again!
First up, this idea will have your Happy Buddies entertained for HOURS in the tub.
Meet the Dubiens has the simplest recipe ever for Rainbow Shaving Cream Bath Paint.
How cool is this Paint a Rainbow with Toy Cars activity from The Chocolate Muffin Tree via PreK+K Sharing?
You literally dip the cars into paint and then drive them across the paper! Genius!
The Happy Buddy and I made one of these cheerful Rainbow Streamer Mobiles from Mom’s Crafty Space.
It’s hanging from our ceiling fan, so whenever the fan is on, our rainbow waves beautifully in the breeze!
Alphamom had great fun painting only half of a rainbow and then smooshing the paper together to create the full rainbow.
She also added plenty of glitter, which makes it the perfect project in my humble opinion. 🙂
Have your Happy Buddies draw a rainbow on several craft sticks, then break the craft sticks up to make your very own Rainbow Popsicle Stick Puzzle!
Teaching Preschool has all of the instructions.
I think this Recycled Scrap Paper Rainbow from No Time for Flashcards is just stunning!
Plus, it helps your Happy Home go green this St. Patrick’s Day (green, as in environmentally friendly!). 🙂
With a little bit of paint, or several different-colored ink pads, your Happy Buddies can create Fingerprint Rainbows like these ones from Simple As That.
And, finally, it wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without styling a Froot Loop Necklace from Pink and Green Mama!
Most important, I love that rainbows are a symbol of God’s everlasting covenant with us.
“I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” Genesis 9:13-16
It’s also good to keep this perspective in the midst of a storm…
Happy Rainbow-ing! 🙂
