Mother’s Day is just a week away!
Every year I feel like this precious holiday sneaks up on me and I never have my act together to do something super meaningful for the amazing Moms in my life.
But this year I am determined to be on top of things!
It sure does help to have a blog to keep me accountable! 🙂
I was thinking about all the special Moms that have children in our Sunday School classes at church. I work with the preschoolers, ages 2-5. I picked out a few ideas for the kids to make and bless their moms this Sunday.
Here’s what we are working on…
This sweet little tulip hand-print magnet from Skip to My Lou is the most precious thing! It couldn’t be easier to put together!!!
And then I spent today interviewing all the kids about their moms.
I asked questions like,
“What is your favorite thing about your mom?” and “What is her favorite food?” and “How old is your mom?” and “What does your mom want to be when she grows up?” and “Where did your mom and dad first meet?”
Let me just tell you. I was stifling giggles the whole time because the kids had answers like, “My mom and dad met in Paris.” (I’m 99% sure that is not accurate. :-)) and “My mom is 17 years old.” and “My mom wants to be a superhero when she grows up.” and “My mom’s favorite food is empanadas.” (I love that a 4 year-old knew this about his mom!)
I used this awesome FREE printable Mother’s Day Interview from Tip Junkie.
But I also found some other adorable Mother’s Day Interview questions over at Let’s Explore that I thought were even better – they just weren’t in a cute printable format like Tip Junkie’s.
This Fairy is all about quick and easy convenience!!!
Don’t you think these two ideas will make a lovely gift for those incredible moms?
