We are about 4 weeks into school and let me tell you – Happy Buddy is SO. HAPPY.
I believe that this is majority in part to his beautiful and precious teacher, Mrs. Bennett.
Well, Mrs. Bennett had a birthday last week, so we decided it was imperative to celebrate.
We picked up an Amazon gift and presented it using a cute FREE Printable card I found HERE from Fabulessly Frugal.
Then I emailed Mrs. Bennett the day before and told her to not pack a lunch on her birthday. We would be providing that.
Because who wants to make your own lunch on your birthday?!
I put together a few of my special Super Easy, Super Glamorous Sandwiches. We included a bag of healthy veggie chips, a yummy strawberry yogurt, a sparkling water, a chocolate Larabar, and a Happy Birthday-themed paper plate and napkin.
We taped little encouraging notes to all of the items.
When I visited Mrs. Bennett’s room to have Happy Buddy give her the goodies, I saw this amazingness that Mrs. Bennett’s sweet teacher’s assistant, Karen, made for the birthday girl.
I can’t even talk about this. Just Pin It and promise me you will make this for your child’s teacher on her birthday this year.
The whole class also worked on each making a special birthday card for Mrs. Bennett, as well as another parent came in later that afternoon with cupcakes for everyone and a big balloon.
I tell you. Teachers who make your kids happy to go to school deserve all this fuss.
Do you celebrate your child’s teacher’s birthday?
