I love the ideas! My son’s teacher moved up with them last year so they’ve had the same teacher two years in a row and we absolutely LOVE her! This year, just in time, a friend was selling the “31” and “it’s personal” products so I ordered one of the large market totes in black with her name written in garnet (black and garnet are her football team’s colors). I made a small “movie night kit” to go in it and I am putting together a “new mom’s hospital kit” because she’s due with baby no. 3 on June 11 and then I’m adding in some other little touches that she likes including one of those plastic tumblers with a lid. a friend of my found one with the Gamecocks logo (University of South Carolina) and she’s using her cricket to personalize it for me to give to her! Yesterday I also “kicked her out” of her classroom for about an hour and I had each child in her class color a card and write why they liked their teacher and I’m gluing them all to construction paper! Sorry the comments so long, I just love this sort of stuff. My mom did stuff like this every year for our teachers while we were in school and so I want to do it with my son’s teachers! She got a gift last year too and a card that I had all her kids sign. this time I just wanted them all to have something personal for her!
