When I first read the inspirational story about the Empty Egg, I cried my way through a box of tissues.
If you haven’t read it yet, it’s an Easter MUST. Go HERE.
The bottom line – at Easter, many fill their plastic eggs with candy or small treats.
But an even better egg-filler is nothing.
Nothing?
For nothing is precisely what they found in Jesus’ tomb on Easter Sunday! He is alive!!! He is no longer here!
For our MOM group this month, as an encouragement to our mommies to keep a prayerful mind toward the victory and glory of the empty tomb, we put together some simple favors for them to enjoy in their Happy Homes.
I picked up a bunch of those adorable Easter-themed pails from the dollar bins at Target, filled them with colored Easter grass from the Dollar Tree, and placed a single empty egg on top.
Then we included this sweet tag. Here is a peak at how they turned out!
The moms LOVED them!
If you’d like to make your own Easter Party Favor Empty Egg Pails (these make EGG-CEPTIONAL gifts for family, teachers, friends, or something to hand out to older friends in nursing homes, or even a little something to hand to the checker at the grocery store you’ve been sharing Jesus with), then just click the link below for the printable poem/tag and use it to spread His message this Easter season.

Googled Easter favors and found yours. It was the only Christian one that I saw. God bless you for shining your light for Christ! I’m looking for something without bunnies or chicks, maybe a lamb for the Lamb of God or a cross, if you have any ideas. I used your religious pencil toppers before. Thanks.
