One thing I really want the Happy Buddy to learn is to be grateful!
Whenever he receives a ‘happy’, or present, from someone, I want to always do my best to have him follow up with a note of thanks.
A great way (and easy way) to do that is to take a picture!
Givers LOVE to know that their gifts were enjoyed or put to good use, so why not snap a picture of your Happy Buddy playing with his/her new Christmas treat and show the gratitude instead of just tell about it? This is especially helpful if your Happy Buddy can’t write yet!
Here are a few Thank You Pictures I did for the Happy Buddy’s magical Aunt Tina and Aunt Greta last year when they sent him his Christmas presents.
Because he was only 6 months old at the time, I had to take like 1,235,675,456,876 shots because he kept trying to eat the paper. 🙂
I am not even kidding when I tell you that my Aunt Tina totally MADE that stocking! She is a crafting GENIUS!
Don’t you just love that face?
He’s thinking, “In just a minute I am going to swallow that entire Thank You note.”
Or the book is always a tasty choice, too. 🙂
Happy Christmas Thank You Picture-ing! 🙂
How absolutely DARLING!! Oh my goodness…. I love the little signs. And your guy is precious! Great minds think alike 🙂
This is absolutely adorable & a sweet photo to boot…how cool is that!!!
I am long past having lil’ ones…but when my boys were little I did cute things for them as well…crafty things etc. I loved it. I so enjoyed looking at your pages today…I’ve been here quite awhile 🙂
I have a step-daughter and 4 grand-kids from her. I continued to try doing those kinds of things with & for them. She & her husband made fun of me having too much time on my hands. I would have a box & add things to it until it was full of all sorts of things for the kids & then mail it off to them. I would not even hear that they received the package let alone a thank you. Sometimes she would open the package herself & just put whatever I sent away before the two boys were home from school.
This is just so sweet an idea…it kind of makes me sad.
I just want to say thank you for being you and ummm…
Jesus Loves You Snow Much!!
