Taking a quick break from all the New Year’s Ideas to share a few fun memories from our Happy Home Christmas!
There’s the Happy Buddy after we got home from Christmas Eve services! Doesn’t he look dashing?
On Christmas morning we headed over to my parent’s house for breakfast and presents! The Happy Buddy had no idea that he was getting his very own kitchen this year! Mom-mom and Pop-pop are the best!
Oh, how the Happy Buddy just loves playing with all those buttons!
One of my favorite memories of Christmas was when my mom told us that we were going to play a game! You know how much I love games! She made the Happy Hubby, me, my dad, and brother gather around the kitchen table where she had set out pancakes, whipped cream cans, sliced strawberries, bacon pieces, and strawberry jam. Then she told us we had 60 seconds to create the best-looking Santa pancake!
I nearly jumped out of my skin I was so excited! My mom is like the Happy Home Fairy of the universe!
Here’s us hard at work…
And here are the results… Can you guess which one was mine?
Santa with a mohawk!
Santa Bacon-head.
Rudolph Santa.
I was laughing my head off at this last one! The Happy Hubby is so creative!
And then, like all Magical Fairy Mommies do, my mom passed out drinks with fun holiday-themed straws!
That’s me with my Santa Straw. I mean, seriously, doesn’t everything taste better with straws??
There’s a better view of the magical straw – it’s the little things, really. 🙂
There’s the Happy Buddy. Can we say O-V-E-R-S-T-I-M-U-L-A-T-I-O-N? 🙂
I just LOVE this Christmas Breakfast Casserole my mom makes every year!
Well, my family really loves a good competition – here is the Happy Hubby and I after our Annual Puzzle Contest. He and I had to race against my dad and brother to see who could put their puzzle together the fastest. We didn’t win this year, but you can bet I’m going to be practicing until next!
And there we are! It took like 8 gazillion shots to get this because the Happy Buddy was not very ‘happy’ by the time all the festivities were over.
Can we say N-A-P-T-I-M-E? 🙂
I hope you all had Happy Christmas-ings! 🙂
Danielle
