This morning I put on some praise and worship music and the Happy Buddy and I got to work putting witnessing stickers on our Halloween candy! We had such a great time as I shared with him our family’s desire to tell others about Jesus.
The Happy Buddy seemed to enjoy putting the stickers on his toes more than on the candy, but at least he had fun! 🙂

This is a hard one. I think once your children are old enough to understand good/evil I may use the time to be a light. But there is no way I would take my small children to be exposed to the scary costumes out there–they would never sleep alone again. For now we choose not to do Halloween-I have explained it to them as best I can for their ages. I just do not see the point. We keep dress up stuff out year around and they can play with it all they want. Years ago while researching and praying through what was right for our family I came to this verse: Mark 7:13
“Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”
Ephesians 5:7-12
Don’t participate in the things these people do. For though your hearts were once full of darkness, now you are full of light from the Lord, and your behavior should show it! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, rebuke and expose them. It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret.
Research the history of Halloween and then decide for your family.
When I follow your links to the free Halloween Christian stickers, it brings me to a page that looks nothing like the ones on the page. I printed the cute ones once before and lost my copy. Now I’m looking furiously and Halloween’s about to happen. Perhaps I’m not looking in the right place. Please help us find the cute ones you showed before clicking on the Halloween sticker page. It’s kind of confusing.
