Here’s an idea to help you get in the spirit!
Mommies – your mission today is to call up a friend and invite them to join you for a cup of hot apple cider one day next week! When you are grocery shopping this weekend, simply grab a 1/2 gallon of Zeigler’s Apple Cider (the best!), an orange, some cinnamon sticks, and whole cloves. On the day of your cozy celebration, pour the cider and cinnamon sticks into a saucepan, stick cloves in several orange slices and then drop them in the saucepan with the other ingredients! Heat up and be amazed!
What a simple way to enjoy the uplifting company of a friend, welcome the glorious season of Fall (which officially begins on the 22nd – btw!), celebrate our Apple Week of Fun AND make your house smell absolutely HEAVENLY!

Well, since no one else is making a cider date, I’ll tell you about mine! My sister-in-law and brother (who live in Germany) are coming to town next week! We have a playdate scheduled for the 27th (where Noah is going to get to meet his cousins for the first time!) and my sis-in-law and I are definitely going to share a cup of hot apple cider!!!!
