About a year ago I was in Target and passed by the cards section. My eye was drawn to the most adorable set of cards made by a gal named Kate Smith. These cards had the cutest drawings and funniest sayings. I immediately put like 30 cards in my cart because 1. I love sending snail mail to people and 2. I love making people happy. And all of Kate Smith’s cards do just that – make you happy!
One piece of her work in particular inspired me. It was a picture of an adorable pretzel with the following caption >>
A pretzel is just a piece of dough, who found itself in a tough position, and decided to make the best of it. Be a pretzel.
Do you knot just love that?!
Haha see what I did there?
I reached out to Kate Smith and asked her if she wanted to work together on a sweet little Act of Kindness idea meant to encourage someone who might be currently “in a tough position.”
Kate is the sweetest and sent me a giant pack of her image printed beautifully on cardstock!
They are perfect for attaching to a bag of pretzels and delivering to your friend who needs a smile, a sweet reminder, and a snack.
Simply pick up your favorite bag of pretzels from the store (bonus points if they are dipped in chocolate), attach with some curling ribbon, tape, or get fancy with a tiny clothespin clip like THESE or THESE!
I would love to gift 5 Happy Home Fairy readers a set of 10 Encouraging Pretzel cards by Kate Smith so that YOU can brighten someone’s day, too!
The first 5 people to comment on this post will be the winners!
Make sure to fill in your email address and I will contact you with details! Woohoo!
also Make sure to stop by your local Target and find more fun Kate Smith cards to bring a little joy to the people in your world!
Joyfully,
Julie 🙂

Can I still reply to your wonderful ‘pretzel’ message. I make a back-to-school box for my grandchildren and would like to include pretzels with your wonderful note. Thanks for the uplifting ‘pretzel’ message. Beautiful!
