I saw this idea HERE and decided to put my own spin on it because I thought it was soooo sweet and creative!
New Mom Meal Mail!
It’s a postcard that you give to a New Mom as a way of letting her know that you would like to bring a meal for her after the baby arrives. She fills the postcard out at the right time and then pops it in the mail for you to receive! See the postcard below…
That is the back of the postcard.
That is the front of the postcard.
Adorable, right?!
I don’t know about you, but I would not have survived without the amazing help from friends and family members bringing meals during those first few weeks after the Happy Buddy was born! Phew!
If you’d like to print the postcard, all I ask is for you to LIKE the FAIRY on FACEBOOK! That way you can stay up-to-date on all the fun and magic happening here at Happy Home Fairy!
To print your own postcard, simply click HERE for the PDF version. Print one page at a time – printing the first side and then putting the same paper back in the printer upside down to print the other side. Print on cardstock if you can!
*P.S. I made sure that the size of the postcard is accepted by USPS! :-)*
Fill in the blanks with your name and address, put a stamp on it, and then attach the postcard to your gift for the Mom-to-Be! She will love knowing that a free meal awaits when baby comes!!!
If you are hosting a shower, why not print a whole bunch of these – one for every guest to fill out while at the party? Instant meal coordinating!
Also, speaking of bringing meals to new moms…
If you happen to find yourself often coordinating meals for people in need, let me introduce you to Take Them a Meal – an INCREDIBLE website that offers FREE organization for meal coordinating.
This site has literally CHANGED MY LIFE!!! You must check it out!!!
Also, also… Here are two great (and easy) meals to take to new moms!
Chicken Divan (serve with a salad and rolls)
Bruschetta Chicken Bake (serve with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies)

Julie, this is just the GREATEST idea! I wrote about meals today too — but in a different way. And I’m checking out your recipes, too!

This postcard is adorable! A meal is a great gift to send to the parents of a newborn. If you do not live near the new parents but you still want to participate in a meal calendar and send the gift of food, http://www.TheMealStork.com can help out by sending a delicious meal on your behalf! The meal gifts are chef-prepared and can be delivered anywhere in the continental United States.
