This year I got to be in charge of providing a daily breakfast for the teachers each morning of our teacher work week.
Let me tell you – I WAS IN HEAVEN. I absolutely love doing this stuff!!!
In case you need some teacher appreciation breakfast inspirations – here are 4 days of ideas!
*WARNING – Cute pun overload ahead!!!*
Day 1 – Back to School Breakfast
Menu
- Breakfast Casserole (find the amazing recipe HERE!)
- Fruit Platter
- Muffins
- Mandarin Oranges
- Trail Mix (a favorite!)
Day 2 – Keep Calm and Donut Stress
Menu
- Donuts and Munchkins
- Assorted Yogurts
- Granola/Trail Mix
- Bananas
Day 3 – You Are Appreciated A Waffle Lot
Menu
- Waffles (don’t forget the toasters!)
- Toppings: chopped strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, chocolate chips, whipped cream, maple syrup
- Snack bars
- Bananas
Day 4 – We Cereal-sly Love Our Teachers
Menu
- Assorted cereals
- Milk
- Bananas, apples, grapes
- Homemade baked treats (like THIS PUMPKIN MAPLE COFFEE CAKE shown above made by my hero, Katie)
- Trail mix
The teachers seemed to like the trail mix-y items the best – as well as the fresh fruits. Grab-and-go healthy snacks was their jam!
The only downside of having this responsibility was that I wasn’t able to provide food for my own family during this week because I just can’t think about that much food all at once. Ha!
Stay tuned for some details on the adorable school-themed flower arrangements you see!
First day of school is tomorrow!!!
Joyfully,
Julie 🙂

I know this is an older article. But I just came across it. For the waffles – did you use eggo waffle? Did you put them out frozen? Don’t they get soggy
