Blue is such a beautiful color! I like to tell my students how God made so many different things in our world blue – the ocean and sky being two huge examples!
Here are a few cute ways you can help your students celebrate the color blue…
Read The Monster At the End of This Book and make paper plate Grover/Cookie Monsters from Mrs. Ricca’s Kindergarten.
Blue Color Word Poem from HERE.
Using pipettes for Fine Motor Art from Teaching 2 and 3 Year Olds.
Little Blue Truck book and activity from i Heart Crafty Things.
Easy Ocean in a Bottle from Happy Hooligans.
Puddle Jumping from Pink Oatmeal.
Make a Blue Discover Bin.
Print a picture of Cookie Monster and attach to the front of an empty baby wipe container. Feed him cookies. Idea from Sunflower Storytime.
Sing the Blue Song from Colors and Kindergarten.
Eat some blueberries and wear blue jeans!
What do you do when you find a blue elephant? CHEER HER UP! 🙂
Have fun!
Joyfully,
Julie
