Father’s Day Tradition – Papa Pizzas!

8 Jun

When I consider the the Happy Hubby and his favorite things, pizza comes to mind!

If it’s round and covered with cheese and sauce – my man is a happy camper!

Balancing Beauty and Bedlam, introduced me to a fun Father’s Day tradition idea that I have never heard of before and I LOVE IT!!!!

Here’s what to do…

Gather the whole Happy Home together on Father’s Day night and make some homemade pizzas.

Keep it simple – use ready made pizza crusts or English Muffins or pitas.  Spread on some jarred sauce and sprinkle with cheese.

Provide a whole bunch of veggies and toppings like ham, sweet peppers, olives, pepperoni, mushrooms, sweet corn, onions, tomatoes, etc.

Because here comes the fun part…

You’re going to decorate the pizzas so that they look like Dad!

And I think this one with the mushroom nose is cute. :-)

Dad could even give an award to the Happy Buddy with the most accurate portrait.

Don’t forget to take pictures!

It will be a Father’s Day to remember!

And there are my two favorite boys sharing a slice of Mack and Manco pizza (BEST EVER) a few years ago when we were on vacation at the Jersey Shore.

Happy Papa Pizza-ing! :-)
