Occasionally I ask the Happy Hubby strange, random questions like, “If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?”
His answer is always pizza.
So for Father’s Day this year, I knew what had to be done.
The Happy Buddy and I gathered up our ingredients and fixed the best dad ever some homemade pizzas with a special message.Ingredients:
- 1 can of refrigerated biscuits (I get the Buttermilk Golden Layers kind)
- Pizza sauce
- Shredded cheese
- 1 bag of Pepperoni Minis
Step 1 – Take 2 biscuits and half of a third biscuit. Press all together to form a round crust. Repeat this 2 more times so that you have 3 crusts.
Step 2 – Cover crust with pizza sauce.
Step 4 – Eat some cheese. Yum.
Step 5 – Use the Pepperoni Minis to spell out the letters D-A-D on each of the 3 pizza crusts. Sprinkle some Italian Seasoning on top if you’d like.
Step 6 – Bake at 400 degrees on a lightly sprayed cooking sheet for about 8-11 minutes.Deliver to dad with a brand new pizza cutter – like this funny one HERE that looks like a circular saw.
I bought it for the Happy Hubby and he immediately ran to get his safety goggles and headphones for the full effect as he sliced through his homemade pizza.
