Since God used angels so much in the story of His Son’s birth, the Happy Hubby and I have been talking about them with the Happy Buddy quite a lot.
We introduced him to Gabriel, the angel who told Mary she would be Jesus’ mommy.
And I told him that there are other angels throughout the Bible. Even one named Michael.
The Happy Buddy looked at me with eyes of disbelief and said, “You mean like that guy from The Office?!”

No, we don’t let our boy watch that show, but it happens to be one of Daddy’s favorites… Guess someone is listening rather intently from his room when he is supposed to be sleeping while Mommy and Daddy are enjoying some down time.

We spent our first Christmas together as husband and wife in 1975. We were on a very tight budget, so there was no money leftover for a tree-top angel. I acquired a paper plate, some paper lace doilies, a styrofoam ball, aluminum foil and crayons and made one. We used her for years!

That is the sweetest story EVER! 🙂

Have you listened to the 12 Voices of Christmas. Gabrielle talks about his role in the birth of Christ. The whole CD is wonderful and has the major people of Christmas in it talking about the events leading up to the birth of Jesus. We listen to it every year.

Lisa, I have never even heard of it! Sounds amazing!!!
