Can I self-indulge a bit today?
I know Easter is all about Jesus and offering our lives to Him and dying to self and remembering that HE IS ENOUGH and we don’t need all the things, but sometimes it’s fun to dream. 🙂
And sometimes it’s fun to share with you a few neat new products I have found!
So if I were to create an Easter basket for myself and money was not an issue (hahahaha!), then here is what I would put in it…
It’s OK Banner
I just LOVE this. I was telling my husband about it yesterday and when he asked me how much it was and I told him, he said, “Why in the world would you pay that much money for something that you could make yourself using a dinner napkin?” HA! But isn’t it awesome? I love the simple reminder that “It’s Ok,” because with Jesus – IT IS. We ALL need to be reminded of this regularly.
New Bethel Album
I actually went ahead and bought this because when Bethel puts out an album – YOU BUY IT. As expected, this album is great. I especially love the songs “Spirit Move,” “Have It All,” “Colors,” and “Sweet Praise.” The hubs thought the cover was a little weird, though. 🙂
You can buy it HERE(affiliate link).
Shoes
I just bought these ballet flats at Target and I am IN LOVE. The color is great and goes with almost everything. Plus, Target is having a huge BOGO sale on shoes right now.
Coffee Table
Ever since I started watching Fixer Upper I have become slightly obsessed with the whole industrial farmhouse look. So naturally I started scouring the internet for a coffee table that would make Joanna Gaines proud. At first I fell in love with THIS ONE from Pottery Barn, but let’s be real here, never in a million years would I spend that much money on a COFFEE TABLE. Especially one that will probably have a bowl of milk and cereal spilled on it within 10 seconds of it being in our house. But when I found the one above on sale at Joss and Main, I have started to save my pennies.
I suppose this item wouldn’t really fit inside an Easter basket. DETAILS. 🙂
Thyme Curling Iron
So this is a totally frivolous item but I LOVE IT. Have you seen the Tyme Hair Iron?! Facebook keeps putting sponsored ads for this in my feed and I totally fall for them EVERY TIME. I am one of the few women on the planet who has never been able to figure out how to use a regular curling iron, so this incredible invention is on my wish list for when Happy Buddy gets his big break as an NBA star and we are rolling in the dough. 🙂
Urban Decay Shimmer Powder
Y’all know how much of a fan I am of glitter. I wear it on my face almost every day. I saw this Shimmer Powder at the beauty store a few months ago and I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since. It’s so pretty! But I don’t want to make any more doctors think I am a pole dancer again, so I guess I will refrain… 😉
Tote
After an unfortunate accident with an avocado exploding in the bottom of my handbag, I raced to Target for a new one. I grabbed the first one I saw with a tassel and some polka dots because TASSEL AND POLKA DOTS, but it has a zipper and a wide bottom and people I cannot find anything in that bag. It takes me 18 minutes to fish out my keys. THIS TOTE from Francesca’s is gorgeous and promises quick retrieval of my things.
Thanks for letting me be a little selfish today!
I would love to know what YOU would put in your Easter basket! Leave a comment below!
Joyfully,
Julie 🙂
