Chocolate Ice Cream and the Big Poop

19 Oct

Someone went poopy in the potty today for the first. time. ever!!

So we celebrated accordingly.

Do you think the Happy Buddy will be mad at me forever when he is old enough to realize that I posted about his poop on the internet for all the world to see?

I’m just a proud mama, is all.

Nothin’ wrong with that, right?

I’ll try to show a bit more discretion in his teen years.

:-)

Way to go! That’s awesome! Even if he’s a little upset at you, he’ll get over it when he has kids of his own and realizes what a big deal it is! :)

Way to “go”, Happy Buddy! Sorry, couldn’t resist the pun. His little face looks so happy. I’m all for rewarding poop in the potty. That’s definitely worth a celebration.

Right !1  And congratulations on the big event !!! I made your cheese biscuits tonight and they were delicious.  Next time I think I will add a cup of cheese instead of a half cup. Grandmommy

He might, but you have every right to celebrate the moments. It is a big deal and if we had blogs when my kids were little, I would have done the same thing, Nothing wrong with being a proud momma!

I must say I agree with Liz, the only difference between you and the rest of us mom’s is we didn’t know how to Blog, because if we had, we would have been doing the same as you. I can remember many a family gathering or neighborhood gathering where the kids caught us mom’s talking about each of their personal achievements, you know, pooping, giving up the pacifier or if you have girls, when she gets her Period (the big moment). I think that even in their obvious humiliation, they might not see it then, but I know my kids, when they look back find humor in those times. The bottom line is you are a joyous Mom, full of wonder in every part of your first borns life, so I say Bring on the Blogs and we will giggle alongside of you.

OMG I love your baby’s hair!!! My son is two and his hair is long and curly and crazy!!! I am begging my husband to let me cut it! I am going to show him your son’s pictures and hopefully it will convince him!
