Bible Verse Advent Cards – FREE PRINTABLES!

30 Nov

If you stopped by yesterday, you saw my post about Advent Calendars.

So far, we have four in our house and I’m thinking we might need a fifth… Haha!  The Happy Hubby came into the kitchen yesterday and was like, “How many of these things do we have to keep up with every day?”

I smiled and said very matter-of-fact-ly, “ALL OF THEM!”

But in all of my Advent Calendar Internet searching, I couldn’t find anything that had a printable for little cards to put in each Advent pocket that featured Bible Verses from the Christmas story.

Wouldn’t it be lovely to open up your Advent Calendar every day this December and read a Scripture verse telling of Jesus’ miraculous birth?  Wouldn’t you love to share that with your Happy Homes?

I know!  I’d LOVE it too!

So I made some!!!!! :-)

*Download at end of this post*

By the end of the month you will have 24 cards depicting the story of Jesus’ birth – from the angel telling Mary that she would be Jesus’ mommy, to the three wise men’s journey, I hope you enjoy celebrating the real reason for the season every day this month.

I even included some cute ideas on the 2nd page of what to do with the cards in case you don’t have an Advent Calendar.

Here is a sneak peak at your FREE Printable Advent Cards…

Thank you so much for sharing this. When I was growing up we didn’t do advent calendars, I guess due to the denomination. This year I have been really feeling convicted about how our family celebrates Christmas and I have decided we are going to do things differently this year. The precious gift of Jesus will be the spotlight. I am going to use the verses you provided though I am not sure in what form yet. I have so enjoyed following your blog. Thank you for taking the time to share with others.

Laurie – I just loved getting your comment. I feel the same way! God has really been convicting my heart this year about making His birth the primary focus of our celebrating. Your words encouraged me so much – thank you for stopping by and keep on stopping by because I will be posting LOTS more Christ-centered activities this season! :-) God bless you and your family!

Our advent calendar has quickly turned into a “what’s next” present each day with emotions running too high if the little gift wasn’t up to snuff. I almost said forget it and then thought this morning how I wanted to include a bible verse each day leading to Jesus’ birth! And found your blog! Better than I could have ever done! Many Thanks to moms that think alike!

This is wonderful! Thank you so very much. I buy an Advent calendar for my class each year. However, this year, I could only find non-Christian calendars in my local supermarket, therefore I will be supplementing this in exchange! God Bless! Merry Advent Season.
