Decorating for St. Patrick’s Day

26 Feb

I thought I’d get started on St. Patrick’s Day ideas because once one holiday is over, I just can’t seem to keep myself from diving head first into the next!!!

Although as much as I’ve wanted to get these ideas rollin’, the Happy Buddy has been dreadfully sick this week and I have spent a lot of time with a precious, snotty, coughy, Sad Buddy in my lap instead of a computer.  Please pray for him, my friends!  I just hate seeing him feeling so crummy.

To help our Happy Home perk up a bit in the midst of so much discomfort, I thought we might need some cheerful seasonal decor.

Here are some super inspiring and easy ideas!

Ramblings of a Crazy Woman set up this simple Rainbow Streamer Decoration as a surprise for her Happy Buddies.

It’s always fun to walk through a curtain of something magical. :-)

Instead of streamers, Chica and Jo used colorful ribbons to create a neat St. Patrick’s Day Door Decoration in her Happy Home.

She also suggests secretly transforming your Happy Buddy’s teacher’s classroom door with this idea!

Using strips of colored construction paper, a Rainbow Paper Chain with an easy peasy recycled oatmeal can turned pot of gold is the perfect centerpiece for your Happy Home’s dinner table!

I love how Mustard Seeds even added some tissue paper clouds at the top.

Finally, this sweet Balloon Rainbow over the breakfast table just makes my heart happy.

I know that the Happy Buddy will find a smile through his icky-ness with one of these magical ideas!

Happy St. Pat’s Day Decorating! :-)

Hope Happy Buddy gets well soon, it is never fun for anyone when their little ones are sick. Glad you have your priorities in place. You are awesome.

I love all of the cheerful and bright ideas!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! (And I really hope that your happy buddy feels better soon! Having a child who’s sick is one of the hardest things, but it can also be a blessing when it makes us slow down and snuggle more!)
