I realize that Groundhog Day is kind of a no biggie (especially to Florida people!), but I am of the mind set that if there is something to celebrate – then we better celebrate it!

The kindergarten teacher at the school where I used to teach does this fun Peeking Groundhog Craft every year with her students.
All you need is some brown paper, glue, googly eyes, paint, a Popsicle stick and a paper cup. A cinch!
Scissors and Spatulas has the complete tutorial so your Happy Buddies can have a blast poking their groundhog up out of the cup – er – ground!

Yeah, once again a fun idea that is doable. Guess what we are having for breakfast tomorrow!! My kids will roll their eyes and think that I am once again loosing it. but hey, I ok with that.
