An Anniversary Tradition

2 Jan

Last week the Happy Hubby and I celebrated 8 years of marriage.

Each year seems to get better and better!

Since our Anniversary falls at the end of December, it’s the perfect time for reflection.

So, when our first Anniversary rolled around, I decided to make a keepsake for the hubs documenting all of the fun we had during our first year of marriage.

I just grabbed a sheet of notebook paper and wrote down 110 memories. What a great time we had reminiscing as we read the list.

It was such a great time that when our 2nd Anniversary came, we decided to make another list of memories together – over dinner.

And, 8 years later, we haven’t stopped!

There’s my man – scribbling down this year’s memories while we wait for our table.

Not only do we have 8 pages of treasures – but also we have pretty wonderful memories of our Anniversary dinner conversation. :-)

Do you have any fun Anniversary Traditions?

Happy Anniversary Tradition-ing! :-)

Congrats on 8 years!! What a cool tradition to start. I have a friend who made a scrapbook of the highlights of the years. We put together a picture frame with the pictures of the year, Now we are down to a yearly family picture. I like your idea because it doesn’t take up a lot of space like a picture frame.
