Shamrock Friends

23 Feb

Today we are kicking off our St. Patrick’s Day magic with a super easy and cute craft!

This idea was 100% stolen inspired from Sweet and Lovely Crafts!

Does anyone else get super giddy at re-purposing toilet rolls?

As I’ve said before, my favorite kind of crafts are the ones where I can walk around the house and simply gather my materials instead of have to spend an arm and a leg at Michael’s. :-)

These Leprechaun Friends DELIVER!

Aren’t they just darling?!?!

I simply wrapped some empty toilet paper rolls with scrapbook or construction paper and attached with tape.  Then I stuck some fun St. Patrick’s Day-themed stickers to glam it up a bit.

I found a package of shamrock foam shapes at the Dollar Tree (hurry and pick them up before they disappear!).  Or you could just cut out your own shamrock shape using the pattern HERE.

Next, glue on some googly eyes.

Googly eyes make me happy. :-)

I used a piece of tape and a smear of glue to stick the shamrocks to the toilet paper roll.

Here are some pictures of each Shamrock Friend…

The one above is my favorite – can you guess why???

(Hint:  It is glittery.) :-)

I am so in love with my new Shamrock Friends.  I know your Happy Buddies will just love making them with you to ring in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit!

Happy Shamrock Friends-ing! :-)
